Welcome! My name is Shauna and I get seriously excited about building people, communities and situations up.

Saskatchewan has always been home, so it should be no surprise that my world-view connects best with those who understand the spirit which exists here.

Saskatchewan people eagerly welcome everyone, so no matter where you reside if your ‘heart bleeds green’ as we say (look up Saskatchewan Roughrider Fans and see what happens) you have found your tribe.

I will be honest, the past couple of years have succeeded in knocking me down at times. I know many of you have felt that heaviness and despair also.

But here we are. Hope is on the horizon and you want to grab onto that positivity and start figuring out how to come together again.

You want to build relationships in your family, within your social circles, within your community and beyond.

You also know that there is much work to do to get there. You recognize there is a heavy lift to be done. You also feel called to help in that lift.

You might not be able to participate in a rally. You might not be able to even speak to anyone else about how you feel. You may find yourself targeted by social media throttling or ‘jailing’ elsewhere.

This community is meant to provide that space where you can pop in, visit with like-minded people. Connect in real ways if you wish.

I will pop in with ‘lives’ from time to time to introduce various topics. Those who know me, know I get super excited about life and tell me they love when I give my take on things.

Spoiler alert… sarcasm is my friend. With that said, my life as a professional facilitator taught me how to truly look at all situations from multiple angles; I give credit where it is due (even to those who would disagree with me).

How will you participate here?
Locals provides a platform whereby content creators can thrive. It also allows those who create communities to manage them in the way they see fit.

I will be sharing various links I believe:

• give hope,
• show a viewpoint beyond what the corporate media profess is true
• and good news stories which build positivity and create unity

You will be able to comment, thumbs up and share from here.

As we start out here, I will not be setting content as ‘subscriber only’. With that said, I’m sure you can relate to enjoying an income. For now there is a tip jar. If you like what is going on in here and want it to continue, I am grateful for your encouragement by way of comments and donations.

Community Guidelines

Please respect the following community guidelines to maintain an enjoyable environment:

• Keep conversation respectful, without personal attacks
• Keep swearing inside your own head, everyone can understand frustration without seeing it on their feed
• Bullying is uncool. If you like it, find another group.
• Zero threats of violence against anyone - inside or outside this group will be tolerated. That kind of anger adds no value. If you can’t help yourself, there are plenty of other groups to foster that negativity. You are most welcome to go join one.
• Don’t blow up the feed. If someone isn’t responding to you, let it be
• No pornography (do I really have to say that?)
• No ads, thanks. Locals is cool because it doesn’t drop ads everywhere.
• Keep out behavior that could be seen as trolling/spamming
• Relax, be yourself, and enjoy
• You are here because you are tired of the anger, the lies, the frustration, the corruption and the chaos.
• You are wanting to discuss world events as it relates to the place you call home (even if you live elsewhere)
• Your tummy tells you there is a better way.
• You are craving a place where you can find hope, positivity and unity
• You want to interact with people - near to you - who are dealing with the same things.
• You want to be part of the movement of people who re-ignite the spirit of your community.
