Hey everyone! As more of you realize that Google and its Big Tech partners might not really be your friend you begin to realize you have no idea where to start de-googling your life. ProTip: you likely won't fully succeed at that but you most certainly can limit its presence. By limited its access to you, you do succeed in limiting the power of Google.
Here is a link which does a pretty good job of explaining the basics. Some of it will still be hard to understand, but take the main points best you can. Most of us do not have the brain bandwidth, nor need, to understand it all.
With so many new users coming over to Locals, I thought answering some questions might be helpful. You should find answers in here. You also get to learn a bit about me and what to expect in this community. Shhhh. It will be awesome. ;)
